Tip to keep the copper nice and shiny: 

Bare copper, as you might know, will age with time - it will continuously oxidize and change colour when being used. Unless you prefer the darker look on your jewellery, you want to gently polish the piece with some steelwool, rinse it with some water and dry it with soft cloth or tissue.
